Specialty Powders divests Drytec Contract Processing to MVC Capital

Drytec had increasingly become “non-Core” to the Group’s activities and George Seward, of Corporate Mergers Limited, who assisted the vendors, commented that “it had been a great deal for Specialty Powders, the deal allows the Vendors to concentrate 100% on food processing technologies in the future”

MVC Capital based in New York has a similar Business to Drytec – Summit Custom Spray Drying in Flemington, New Jersey and the two businesses will be brought together to serve global customers in a variety of industries.

Mike Kirby, MD of Specialty Powders Holdings commenting on the transaction said “the help and support we received from our financial and legal advisers during the transaction helped us to stay focussed and drive the deal through. I am delighted to place on record George’s help throughout the deal process”.
